Why Cruising Will Never Get Old For Me...

 The sun, the fun, worshipping the Son…  Premier Christian Cruises are awesome, and there’s nothing like one!

I remember my first Music Boat cruise two years ago.  I went mainly because I knew my new fave band at the time, Jars of Clay, would be performing live and I was so into seeing them perform “Closer.”  Also my buddy was going and wanted someone to join him. 

 It was so great.  I got to know a bunch of new artists and I made new friends  from all over. As a new believer (I was raised Christian but never really “owned” my relationship with the Lord until a few years ago), I had never followed the Christian music scene, but I quickly got up to speed!

Recently I was on the 2011 Music Boat with my same friend from church. We were just hanging out having fun when this thought came to me: Not everyone in the world has this unique opportunity to have a vacation worshipping Jesus Christ with other believers.  And even more than that, but all the people who have lived before who couldn’t even dream of something like it.  It would have been a total luxury.

 Take a look at the papers with stories of persecution, and you know not everyone has freedom to worship in the faith.  Consider the era in which we were born, out of all the times to be born!  This type of gathering of believers for a vacation in music for God wasn’t possible years ago.

Going on a cruise with Premier Christian Cruises, being surrounded by so many people, products, and services geared towards building the Body, is truly something special; it is a freedom and joy that we can’t take for granted.  And as a new believer, it really helped me to get connected, to grow in my walk, and to get excited about my faith.

 Many people around the world don’t have the freedom to have this type of fellowship on a vacation and this is why cruising will never get old for me.. I’m definitely going to make it to next year’s Music Boat.  Maybe I’ll see you on board!
