Shop
Shopping, shopping. Let me count the ways!
First, there’s the Girl’s Get-A-Way Christian Store with CDs, books, and memorabilia from all the guest artists and speakers onboard. We’ll have prints, books and music for autograph sessions. We’ll offer T-shirts, caps and other souvenirs that will be perfect gifts for folks back home or mementoes of your trip.
Second, there’s duty-free shopping in the Carnival Cruise Ship’s onboard stores. You can find everything from perfume and jewelry to toys and candy. It’s a smorgasbord of finds.
Third, there’s Cozumel, Mexico with three distinct shopping areas:
- Waterfront downtown, known as “La Plaza” or “Plaza del Sol,”
- Crafts market behind La Plaza,
- Cruise ship passenger terminal at Punta Langosta Pier.
Everything in Cozumel is duty-free, which means no taxes. In general, the further you walk or ride away from the pier the better deals you will find. Also, be sure to look for coupons and discount flyers on the ship before you begin your shopping venture! Many shops have arrangements with Carnival passengers for freebies and samples for their cruise passengers.
In Cozumel, you will find a large variety of:
- Mexican Handicrafts
- Jewelry
- Clothing Stores
- Dive Shops
- Music Shops
- Shoe Stores
Happy hunting!
