WinterJam Tour brings thousands to Christ!
There’s only one month and 10 concerts left on the WinterJam Spectacular Tour 2007. A phenomenal tour, the 12th annual event is smashing previous records and bringing thousands of people to Christ.
“WinterJam ‘07 is going great!” said Jonas Applegate with VanLiere-Wilcox, WinterJam producer. “All of the artists are doing a great job and the crowds are rockin!”
More than 23,000 people have made decisions for Jesus – rededications and new commitments - at WinterJam concerts across the nation, Applegate said.
On the homeward stretch of its three-month, 30-plus-city excursion across the nation, WinterJam is bringing to light an eternal message and impacting hundreds of thousands of lives. More than 200,000 people have attended the concerts so far – an average of 9,000 people per show.
“It’s been a phenomenal WinterJam so far this year,” said Roy Morgan, owner with Premier Productions, who is promoting this more-than-decade-long tradition in Christian music.
Boasting its strongest line-up yet, the tour has become a highly anticipated event through the years. With more than 14 million albums sold among the artists, the WinterJam 2007 Tour Spectacular (www.jamtour.com) is being hosted by the award-winning band, NewSong and features headliners Steven Curtis Chapman and Jeremy Camp.
Joining the tour are special guests Hawk Nelson, Sanctus Real, new artist Britt Nicole, Speaker Tony Nolan, Presidential impersonator and comedian John Morgan and the breathtaking, fire-breathing Andre the Hollywood Cowboy.
Winter Jam 2007 Tour Spectacular launched on January 12 in Tri-Cities, Tenn. and runs through March 13 in Charlotte, N.C., stopping in 17 states along the tour route.
“If we keep the pace, we’ll be very close to 300,000 attendees this year!” Applegate said.
