Chonda Pierce is ready to give audiences “A Piece of My Mind”

Filmed in her hometown of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Chonda’s latest DVD “A Piece of My Mind” shows the “Queen of Clean” comedy talking honestly about her recent battle with depression alongside her usual antics from the wacky world of womanhood. She adds a dash of musical pizzazz, including a 60-member choir.

“Music has always been the parenthesis for what I’m talking about,” Pierce said in a recent interview. “This time we taped this project at my home church and an entire choir helped put the last parenthesis on the night!”

Traveling from city to city promoting her new DVD, Chonda is appearing in venues from Dallas to Tulsa, Little Rock to Cincinnati, and Ft. Wayne to Kansas City. She is also bringing her comedic genius to the Women of Faith conferences, where she has been the most requested guest in the history of the conference.

With an audience of over 2 million and 5 gold-certified videos, 8 books, and numerous television appearances, Pierce has been wowing audiences across the country for years. She has appeared with Billy Graham, The Gaithers, and even performed at the Grand Ole Opry. In addition to writing and recording, Pierce has joined fellow comedians Mark Lowry, Ken Davis and Dan Rupple (Isaac Airfreight) to form the Christian Comedy Association. She has been married to her husband, David, for 24 years and they have two children, Chera, 22; and Zachary, 16.
